Hi there,

I've installed the locator and loaded the data sucessfully. When I open the locator, the map of Australia loads correctly, but if I enter a postcode, no details are retuned in the scroll pane. The map does show however a red star over the city on the map where the postcode is located correctly. It's as if the return xml from the DB has not been parsed to display the details. The data looks correct when viewed through the admin portal. All the fields have the required information including the lat/longs. I have had the same locator working previously using the lr_v31 version.

I haven't the faintest what I've done wrong. Any clues?

Thanks,

George

First check to see if the region_id in the user interface is the same as the region_id in your location records. If you created an Australia map in the region editor make sure the region_id is present in the user interface (via a hidden form tag or other selector element). Also make sure the location data in the database also contains this region_id.

In version 3.2 the user interface parses data differently than it did in previous versions. If you are using components from the version 3.1 interface they may not work in the 3.2 interface. Test the locator install with the default golf locator interface page (using the Australia region_id and Google API key) to see if locations are being returned.
